Welcome to Hurdiback Backpackers Bunkhouse. Hurdiback Backpackers Bunkhouse is located on a working croft of 180 acres overlooking a beautiful picturesque bay on the Island of Papa Stour, which lies off of the West Coast of the Shetland Islands. There are nine beaches on our land and many more around the island. Our Bunkhouse is a warm comfortable base in which to explore the unique wildness of Papa Stour Island. An ideal location for Bird Watching, Seal Watching, Scuba Diving, Walking or just relaxing. The Bunkhouse can sleep 8, in two rooms of 4. All bed linen, Quilts and towels are included. Waterproof mattress covers and a cot are available if required. There is a comfortable Kitchen/Diner Lounge to relax in after the days exertions. Satellite TV and radio. Individual key safes. Complimentary Tea and Coffee. Self Catering only. Electric cooker, Fridge, Kettle, Toaster and Microwave. Heating and Electric included. Food can be purchased on your behalf for a small fee, negating your need to carry supplies. Minimum 2 weeks notice required for this service. Fresh bread baked daily, order night before. Fresh eggs from our own Free Range chickens and ducks. Camping also available on request. Transport to and from ferry or airfield available on request. NO FIRES OR PETS ALLOWED. OPEN ALL YEAR
